GENERAL TERMS
Tender submissions must be dated and signed by an authorized signing authority.
Only one copy of these documents needs to be submitted. You may submit more than one tender; it needs to be a separate vehicle.
Only the names of the Suppliers submitting a proposal will be read out at the closing time and date.
DEFINITIONS
In this Tender, except where otherwise qualified, these terms will be defined as follows:
"Closing Date" means 14:00 hours, Friday, April 23, 2021 AST.
INTRODUCTION
The Town of Nackawic is requesting a tender document for the supply and delivery of a New - not previously used 2021 half ton truck.
TENDER SUBMISSION
1. Tender submission to be delivered to Town Hall at 115 Otis Drive, Nackawic NB. in person.
OR
Tender submission shall be in a sealed envelope clearly showing the Tender Title and Number, Closing Date and Time, and Company's Name on the front of the envelope and addressed as follows:

2. It must be forwarded to the TON no later than closing date.
3. Suppliers shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submissions in the manner and time prescribed.
4. All submissions be in English only.
TOWN RIGHTS
A proposal is binding and irrevocable on the Supplier(s) submitting the proposal until such time as he/she receives formal notification by mail or e-mail of the acceptance or rejection of his/her request of proposal.
The Town of Nackawic reserves the right, in the event that the successful Supplier fails to comply with the conditions as listed, to cancel any agreement in place regarding this proposal and award it to another Supplier without penalty or action against the Town.
The Town reserves the right to not award due to budgetary or other considerations. The lowest bid may not necessarily be accepted. Final approval will require a positive resolution of Town Council.
The Town reserves the right to award in its best interest, the lowest price may not necessarily be accepted.

AWARD OF Tender
The Town shall notify the successful Supplier by telephone and/or mail or email that he/she is the successful supplier at which time a purchase order will be issued.
The notification will include the time period, as well as the terms and conditions of the agreement.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment Terms will be considered as Net 30 days from the receipt of the invoice and issuance of a Purchase Order Number.
INSPECTION OF VEHICLE/EQUIPMENT:
A town representative will inspect the vehicle/equipment to ensure the delivered vehicle/equipment meet the specifications.
SAFETY INSPECTION:
This vehicle is to be NB safety inspected.
DESCRIPTION:
Supply a new base model Silver or Grey or Red in color base model 1/2 Ton Truck, four-wheel drive. Ideally, the box would be seven feet or longer with a box liner. A tow package must be included. A crew cab version is required, four doors, a suicide door version will be accepted. A gasoline motor is preferred. Flooring can be rubber,
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a registered car dealership.
WARRANTY:
We are asking for industry standard be applied.
TENDER CONDITIONS;
Tender should include all detail of vehicle. The purchase price should be explained in full detail, vehicle cost, all fees and applicable taxes and license. Financing offers not required. All prices and financing must be in Canadian Funds. Please provide offer good until date.
