Description

The WCB is seeking a Contractor to complete a residential modification in Strathmore, Alberta as per the specifications and drawings contained in this IFB. The modifications will consist of:

• Supply and installation of all material and systems described herein for the interior modifications to one existing 1015 square foot unit within a multi-family row house complex with an attached single car garage, as indicated on drawings for barrier free accessibility.
• Provide a new concrete pad at the front sidewalk adjacent to the concrete driveway.
• Provide a new concrete ramp from the deck to back yard, as outline on the drawings.
• Remove existing and provide new flooring throughout the main floor, as outline on the drawing.
• Modify Bathroom and bedroom closet partitions, to accommodate new larger bathroom accessible layout, as outline on the drawings
• Remove and replace kitchen cabinets and appliances for barrier free accessibility, as outline on the drawings
• Installation of all mechanical, electrical system modifications in accordance with the requirements outlined on the drawings.
• Provide new swing clear door hardware to main floor doors, as outline on the drawings.
• The intent of this project is to meet the “CSA B651-18 Accessible Design For the Built Environment”.
