Re: Mental Health Consultant Services

Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver ("City") of its intent to contract with Dr.
Kevin Lutz for the provision of Mental Health Consultant Services for the Vancouver Fire
Rescue Services (VFRS)

Dr. Kevin Lutz will provide mental health and psychological support for the Critical Incident Stress Management(CISM) team. He will create and/or aid in the development of
psychoeducational workshops for CISM team and any other appropriate mental health support
as necessary. In the event of a high risk and /or crisis situation involving VFRS staff, Dr.
Kevin Lutz shall be available to provide direction and assistance. These services shall be
delivered via "in person", "on-line", and/or "telephone" platforms as appropriate.

The contract is valued at approximately $24,000 for 1 year with an option to renew upon
written approval from the City.
