Description

The City of Fort Saskatchewan’s Engineering and Servicing Standards Transportation section was last updated in 2013. Since 2013 only Section 6 Landscaping has been updated which occurred in 2019. In 2018 the City of Fort Saskatchewan completed the Transportation Master Plan which will guide future transportation infrastructure, multi-modal strategies and traffic safety initiatives to align with the adoption of Vision Zero.
Since the last update to the Engineering and Servicing Standards, industry trends in transportation engineering and construction specifications have evolved and the City would like to update and expand the existing transportation standards to meet current best practices.
