Description

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako (RDBN) is requesting quotations for the purchase of approximately 12,000 MT of scrap metals from the following 8 solid waste management facilities in Northern BC:

Fort St. James Transfer Station 4000 m3
Vanderhoof Transfer Station 2000 m3
Area "D" (Fraser Lake Rural) Transfer Station 950 m3
Southside Transfer Station 100 m3
Burns Lake Transfer Station 750 m3
Knockholt Landfill 600 m3
Granisle Transfer Station 950 m3
Smithers-Telkwa Transfer Station 2500 m3

This RFQ is based on the premise that the sale value of the recyclable scrap metal material will equal or exceed the cost of processing, transport and sale of the material. Therefore, the RDBN will not make any payment to the Contractor as a result of any contract resulting from this RFQ.
