Description

Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert over a St. Lina Creek, located 7.2 km north of the hamlet of St. Lina (SW 16-62-10-W4M).

The Contractor shall install a 3.99 m diameter SPCSP culvert by 41.45 m invert length as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located on square to the local road, centered at Station 5+549.000.

The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
− Traffic accommodation
− Site isolation, turbidity monitoring and fish capture and release
− Demolition and disposal of bridge structures
− Excavation, including installation of geotextile filter fabric
− Haul and assembly of culvert materials
− Placement and compaction of backfill, including backfill material testing
− Concrete end treatment, including testing and small bridge plaque
− Installation of heavy rock riprap erosion protection
− Roadway work
− Fencing
− Installation of permanent environmental protection devices
