20-1775 - Recyclable Wood Processing at The City’s Waste Management Facilities

This RFP is open to all interested vendors.

The City of Calgary (“The City”) is seeking qualified Proponent for recyclable wood processing services at the:
1.Spyhill Waste Management Facility (“WMF”);
2.East Calgary WMF; and
3.Shepard WMF.

Recyclable wood recycling services consist of on- or off-site loading, unloading, hauling, processing, recycling, marketing and disposal of the material. The Schedules are as follows:

Schedule 1 Clean Wood Waste (or green wood);
Schedule 2 Green Wood (to process and market);
Schedule 3 Green Wood (to stay on site);
Schedule 4 Green Wood (for pre-determined market);

Proponents are invited to submit proposals for any or all of the Schedules. If a Proponent elects to submit proposals for more than one Schedule, clearly identify on the front of the submission which Schedule the proposal applies to.

Proposals for each Schedule will be evaluated individually.

The term: One (1) year with optional of four (4) times of one (1) year term.
