Notice is hereby given that PROVINCIAL HEALTH SERVICES AUTHORITY ("PHSA"), on its own behalf, and as agent for each of FRASER HEALTH AUTHORITY, INTERIOR HEALTH AUTHORITY, NORTHERN HEALTH AUTHORITY, VANCOUVER COASTAL HEALTH AUTHORITY AND VANCOUVER ISLAND HEALTH AUTHORITY"), (the "Health Authorities"), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier for Acetaminophen Injection.
The initial term will be for a three (3) year term, with a two (2) year option to extend. The contract has an estimated value of $15M CAD over the five (5) year term.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authorit(ies)(s) has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
(a) the protection of patents, copyrights or other exclusive rights
Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Carolyn Whittla, Clinical Sourcing, Pharmacy by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, July 7, 2021. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
