Description

BACKGROUND
The Lethbridge Airport is owned and operated by the City of Lethbridge, the airfield is available to aircraft 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. WestJet currently operates the SAAB 340 aircraft to Calgary, serving approximately 60,000 passengers annually from the Lethbridge area. The airport is home to a flight school, aircraft maintenance services and two FBOs (Fixed-Base Operators). Customs is provided year round for general aviation and is a common destination for business aircraft entering the Country. YQL is used by many airlines as an alternate airport for aircraft up to and including the 737.
Several of the paved surfaces on the airside are nearing their lifecycle expectancies. Annual crack sealing has maintained the serviceability of the pavement.
Scope of Work
Provide construction services to rehabilitate pavement, sub-surface drainage systems and pavement markings for the following surfaces. The proponent will be responsible for sourcing and obtaining all required materials as per design.
