The Department of National Defences (DND) Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) requires the availability to a minimum of two (2) different testing vessel platforms with various capabilities and related professional services to test and evaluate, as well as compare, desired engineering changes (EC) or operations in close proximity to the existing fleet (within 200 nautical miles of the Halifax Harbour).

The period of the contract is for 3 years from contract award, followed by 3, one year option periods.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
