288PA-EEA2021-2022 RRT - EPCOR Energy Alberta GP Inc. (“EEA”) 2021-2002 Regulated Tariff (“RRT”)

The Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) has a legislated mandate, pursuant to Schedule 13.1 of the Government Organization Act (Alberta), as amended from time to time, to represent the interests of Alberta residential, farm and small business consumers of electricity and natural gas before proceedings of the Alberta Utilities Commission (Commission), and other bodies whose decisions may affect the interests of those consumers.

These proceedings include, but are not limited to:

• Applications for utility rates;

• Applications for additions or changes to existing energy infrastructure;

• Applications for access to services; and

• Applications for changes to quality and service standards.

The UCA is preparing to intervene in one or more proceedings as follows:

• EEA’s 2021-2022 RRT Application being considered by the Commission in Proceeding 26694.

• EEA in its 2021-2022 RRT Application, is seeking approval of its forecast monthly non-energy charges for eligible customers in EDTI and FortisAlberta Inc. service areas for the 2021-2022 Test Period. Additionally, for the 2021-2022 Test Period, EEA is seeking approval of the following:
o EEA price schedule that sets out the miscellaneous fees and credits for EDTI and FortisAlberta Inc. service areas;
o EEA RRT Terms and Conditions of Service; and
o Continuation of its hearing cost reserve and short term incentive deferral account, both of which were previously approved by the Commission.

Based on previous proceedings and projects, the Contractor could be reasonably expected to provide up to 340 hours of effort throughout the Project to provide the Services and Materials.
