Description

The WCB is seeking a Contractor to complete a residential modification in Calgary, Alberta as per the specifications and drawings contained in this IFB. The modifications will consist of:
1. A new backyard addition to the home complete with a wheelchair accessible entrance, a residential elevator, and a new outdoor wood deck.
2. A new residential elevator to provide wheelchair access from the ground level to the main floor and basement levels.
3. Main floor modifications including new flooring for the entire main floor.
4. Construction of a new wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom in the basement level.
5. Interior modifications including painting, new doors, new flooring, and all new mechanical and electrical requirements.
6. Site modifications including a new parking pad at the front of the home and a sidewalk leading from the front of the home to the new back entrance.
7. Asbestos abatement as per the report provided with the specifications.
