Description

The Ontario Gazette, published weekly, functions as the government’s public bulletin board - the official journal through which the Ontario Government makes public announcements and posts official notice of various government decisions and activities. It is the communication channel to the public for this information, all of which is mandated by legislation (by statute or by regulation).

• The Ontario Gazette publishes:
I. Notice of proclamation of new statutes and other legislative processes;
II. All new regulations made under Ontario statutes, giving them official status under the Evidence Act;
III. Various types of notices that ministries, private individuals and non-ministry agencies are required by statute or regulation to make public (e.g. changes of name, corporations registration, transport company licensing, Energy Board rate changes);
IV. Is published each Saturday (official issue date) by The Queen’s Printer for Ontario.
Scope of Work
The Vendor will provide the following services relating to the production of the Ontario Gazette and related publications:
• Page composition of the print and pdf versions
• Creation of accessible HTML files for on line publishing

For the following publications:
• The Ontario Gazette on a weekly basis

Dérogation All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. MERX asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
