21-1730 - Vehicle and Equipment Detailing & Biohazardous Cleaning

1) This RFP is open to all interested Suppliers.
2) The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires a supplier capable of providing vehicle and Equipment (“Units”) detailing and biohazardous internal and external cleaning on City owned Units on an as required basis. The City requires a supplier capable of offering various levels of vehicle and equipment cleaning service, including but not limited to:
• Vehicles and equipment internal and external detailing
• Biohazardous and COVID cleaning
• Mouse abatement
The Supplier will be required to offer both mobile services to clean Units at various City sites, as well as a physical commercial location, accessible for Units that need to be dropped off.
3) This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4) Unless specified otherwise elsewhere in the Information Table under Agreement(s), Terms, Renewal and Proof of Concept (PoC), It is The City’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The City intends to enter into one (1) Agreement for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement(s) will be for a term of two (2) years. The Agreements may be renewed two (2) additional time for two (2) years each time, not to exceed six (6) years. The Agreement will not include a Proof of Concept (POC).
