Description

The Columbia Shuswap Regional District is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide the services required to create a new Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw for the Salmon Valley region and the community of Falkland, within Electoral Area D.

SCOPE OF WORK
The Preferred Proponent will be responsible for the overall project including community and stakeholder outreach, management and facilitation of meetings, research, and all aspects of OCP and bylaw creation. The Preferred Proponent is expected to work closely with the designated Regional District project planner who will provide strategic direction to the consultant, aid in the creation of an OCP Advisory Committee, assist with key contacts, review of draft and final bylaws, and act as a liaison in communicating with internal staff, referral agencies and the Electoral Area Director.

The Preferred Proponent will work to develop two primary documents for this project.
1. Salmon Valley/Falkland Official Community Plan; and
2. Salmon Valley/Falkland Zoning Bylaw
