008-01/22 - Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavilion Grandstand Rehabilitation

The City of Burnaby's ("City") intent of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to obtain Proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors to provide all necessary materials, supervision, labour, equipment, tools, permits, and transportation to perform a structural rehabilitation of the Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavilion located at 6871 Roberts St, Burnaby, BC V5B 3C1

MANDATORY SITE VISIT

All Proponents who intend to submit a proposal for this project must attend the project site at the date and time specified below:

A mandatory site tour has been arranged to begin at 1:00 PM on February 16, 2022, at the Place of Work, 6871 Roberts Street, Burnaby, BC V5B 3C1 for Proponents to visit and examine the site and works. General contractors or their agents shall meet at the Burnaby Lake Roving Pavilion Parking Lot and register their presence with the City at the site tour stating the name of the Proponent they represent.

The City and the consultant need to be assured that Proponents submitting a Proposal for this work have visited the site, are familiar with the existing conditions, and submit any questions in writing. Proponents should acquaint themselves with existing conditions prior to submitting a Proposal.

Proponents shall be responsible to view the Place of Work to determine the existing conditions, dimensions, and limitations. No claim for extras will be considered if such a claim can be reasonably attributed to the Proponent's failure to properly inspect the Place of Work. The City makes no representations or warranties as to the condition of the Place of Work.

Due to COVID-19 Pandemic situation, the City requires that visitors fill out the Attachment K - COVID-19 Site Visit Questionnaire prior to attending the site visit and email to Purchasing.
