NOI Title: Baxter Corporation and Fresenius Kabi - Central Intravenous Admixture (CIVA) Services.

Notice is hereby given that the PROVINCIAL HEALTH SERVICES AUTHORITY ("PHSA"), acting on its own behalf, and as agent for each of the FRASER HEALTH AUTHORITY, INTERIOR HEALTH AUTHORITY, NORTHERN HEALTH AUTHORITY, VANCOUVER COASTAL HEALTH AUTHORITY AND VANCOUVER ISLAND HEALTH AUTHORITY ("Health Authorities"), intends to directly award a contract(s) to the following suppliers for Central Intravenous Admixture ("CIVA") services.

The initial contract will be for a one (1) year term, with an option to extend for an additional period of six (6) months. These CIVA service contracts have an estimated value of $10.88M CAD over the eighteen (18) months.

PHSA has chosen to enter into contracts with current suppliers to ensure the uninterrupted supply of these essential products and services, with stabilized pricing, whilst it completes a competitive procurement process within the next twelve months. For avoidance of doubt if PHSA completes the procurement process within the twelve-month period, this may result in early termination of these contracts.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Rod Fenton by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, February 17, 2022. PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
