03-2022-03-E - Prequalification for Engineering Services

The nature of work consists of engineering conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design and construction contract administration on approved capital projects where municipal utilities (sanitary systems, water distribution systems, and stormwater & drainage systems) as well as surface and roadway rehabilitation and improvements. The Consultant responsible for the design components of these projects typically will also be responsible for supporting the Town with developing the tender package, evaluating, and recommending tender submissions, and administering the construction contract between the Town and the general or prime contractor.

This RFQ is not a competitive bidding process nor is it an invitation to bid. By this document, the Town intends to reserve to itself, absolute and unfettered discretion to invite, consider and analyze the submissions, select qualified consultants and issue a competitive bidding document or negotiate directly with one or more pre-qualified Consultants as the Town deems desirable.
