Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for:
1. Architectural firms as Prime/Managing Consultant,
2. Electrical Engineering,
3. Mechanical Engineering.
This RFP is for individual consultant firms; it is not for consultant teams. Island Health will engage each
of the consultants separately.

Build a small negative air room with ante room and vestibule on the RJH campus, preferably close to the RJH Pharmacy Hub in D&T Level 0, to store, repackage and split/package HD medications in a regulation compliant fashion, reducing exposure risk to Island Health Pharmacy and Nursing staff. A Class 1 oral solid re-packaging and a Class 2 splitting/packaging service is proposed to service all Island Health Pharmacies. A negative air anteroom, between vestibule and negative air storage room, to be used for garbing/de-garbing, staff decontamination, and PPE storage to prevent spreading contaminants is also
proposed. Occupational Health and Safety and the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia must approve final specifications and plans.
