Invitation to Request for Quotation: For "RFQ 22-040 Transportation Design for Carey Road and Commerce Circle Project"

The District of Saanich (the "District") is undertaking two transportation infrastructure upgrade projects to provide active transportation improvements. The project locations are along Carey Road from Judah Street to Gerda Road and Commerce Circle AAA Path Connection from Bremerton Street to Vanalman Ave.

The District seeks the services of an experienced consultant/consulting team to provide:
· Detailed design drawings
· Project administration and management to the Detailed Design
· Tendering and Project Tender Documentation
· Construction Administration and Inspection services

The successful respondent (Consultant) shall be experienced in road and underground infrastructure design, construction, inspection, and contract administration and be knowledgeable of the construction conditions in the Greater Victoria area.

The District intends to tender the Carey Road Sidewalk Improvement Project and the Commerce Circle Path Connector Project together.

The District intends to award a single contract to one respondent for the two transportation infrastructure upgrade projects.

Qualified Suppliers

This RFQ is issued to Suppliers on the Qualified Supplier Roster for Category# 07 - Civil Engineering - Municipal established by RFSQ No. 02/21 Professional Consulting Services issued on July 19, 2021 for the purpose of conducting a second stage selection process pursuant to the Master Framework Agreement. Only suppliers that were prequalified under RFSQ # 02/21 are eligible to respond to this RFQ. Quotations submitted by any supplier that was not prequalified under RFSQ # 02/21 will not be considered.
