Description

1. This RFP is open to all interested Vendors.
2. The City of Calgary is seeking licensed uniformed security guard services for identified static sites, guard posts and/or locations in the unlikely event of a labour dispute which could result with short notice. The Supplier will hold a current and valid Security Services and Investigators Act Business licence as issued by Solicitor General’s Office of Alberta. The licence will be formally and correctly certified with any endorsements required to carry out given aspects of the business.
3. This procurement process is not intended to create and will not create a formal legally binding bidding process and will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4. It is The City's intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The Agreement will be for a term of five (5) years.
