AUGUST 30, 2022 - ADDENDUM #1 has been issued to EXTEND THE OFFICIAL CLOSING DATE AND TIME of Request for Proposal #RFP22-076 to WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2022 @ 3:00pm - Atlantic Time, respond to requests for clarification submitted by interested Vendors, and revise the RFP's Terms and Conditions, and Terms of Reference.
An official copy of Addendum #1 is available for download under "Attachments Exist". You
must be registered as an "Interested Vendor" to download the electronic file(s).
It is imperative that a signed copy of this Addendum (and any possible future Addenda)
released with respect to this RFP be included with your bid submission, all of which must
be submitted prior to the Closing Date and Time, as they form part of the RFP document,
and resulting agreement.

OVERVIEW:
Support services are required in order to increase the capacity of current Codiac RCMP resources, achieve effective service delivery, and enable the Codiac RCMP to focus on its primary mandate of providing policing services to the citizens of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview.
The Proponent selected through this RFP process will be required to provide uniformed detention security personnel which meet or exceed all of the minimum requirements specified herein to operate two (2) twelve-hour shifts per day, seven (7) days per week, three-hundred and sixty-five (365) days per year, with each shift consisting of two (2) guards.
ELIGIBILITY OF PROPONENTS:
Proposals will be considered from established firms who have been in the business of providing uniformed detention guard services which are similar or identical to those described in the RFP, have been in business for a minimum of five (5) years, are financially stable, can provide a minimum of three (3) client references for whom they have provided similar products / services to that specified in the RFP, and have sufficient labour, equipment and resources available to provide reliable and
professional detention guard services to the Codiac Regional RCMP in the manner and capacity required.
Proposals shall only be considered from agencies licensed to do business in the Province of New Brunswick under the Private Investigators and Security Services Act, and is operating said agency within the parameters of New Brunswick Regulation 84-103 under the Private Investigators and Security Services Act (O.C. 84-386).
PROPOSED CONTRACT TERM:
The proposed term of this agreement shall be for a one (1) year period, commencing from the date of award, with options to renew the agreement for up to four (4) additional twelve (12) month periods, if it is in the City's best interest to do so. Firm pricing shall be provided for the initial one (1) year term of the agreement, and a maximum percentage (%) price increase shall be specified for all optional contract periods (Year Two (2), Year Three (3), Year Four (4), and Year Five (5)).
