RFP 22-23-1285 - Alberta Post-Secondary Student Gender-based Violence Climate Survey

MacEwan University is seeking a Contractor to administer an Alberta Post-Secondary Student Gender-based Violence Climate Survey (the “Survey”) and prepare a General Survey Report, suitable for public release, for delivery to the Minister of Advanced Education, as well as Individual Institution Survey Reports for each Alberta Publicly Funded Post-Secondary Institution (PSI) from the data of the Survey. The purpose of the Survey is to better understand our campus communities’ (1) attitudes and beliefs about gender-based violence (GBV); (2) experiences of gender-based violence; (3) perceptions of the climate at our campuses regarding gender-based violence; and (4) knowledge of campus resources and policies. It is the intent of MacEwan University to obtain compliant Proposals from leading research firms on their capability, methodology and related experience in providing surveys in GBV or similar topics. The Survey will be developed, administered, and reported on under the project management of MacEwan University, and a working group of PSI representatives and representatives from Advanced Education. The project term will commence upon the execution of an agreement on or after October 5, 2022. It is MacEwan University’s expectation that Goods and Services will be completed by July 7, 2023.
