Description

Tenders are invited for the undertaking of civil works associated with reconfiguring the existing Delta School District Works Yard facility in North Delta.

The City of Delta is building a new fieldhouse to support the recently-completed track and field facility in North Delta. In partnership with the Delta School District, the initial phase of on-site work calls for the reconfiguration of the existing Delta School District Works Yard facility, located at 11549 83rd Avenue, Delta, in order to free up land to facilitate the fieldhouse construction.

Tenders are invited for the undertaking of civil works associated with reconfiguring the existing Delta School District Works Yard facility. Work includes the following key elements:

1. Removal and disposal of the existing concrete retaining wall and a portion of paved asphalt surfacing.
2. Construction of new structural concrete pads.
3. Disassembly and relocation of existing lock block wall structure
4. Minor electrical works associated with the relocation of an existing lamp standard
5. Excavation of existing hard and soft landscaping
