10145 - Engineering Services Tomlinson Watermain Construction

Notice is hereby given by the District of Central Saanich of its intent to contract with ISL Engineering Ltd (ISL) for the provision of the following:

1. Update previously prepared tender drawings and specifications for the Tomlinson Road Watermain Replacement Project,
2. Provide Engineer of Record inspections and record documentation during and after construction.
3. Provide construction administration for the Tomlinson Road Watermain Replacement Project,
4. Provide tendering services – drafting responses to proponent’s questions, evaluating bids, drafting addendums. The completion is scheduled for 2023 and tender documents ready for January 15th, 2023.

The District of Central Saanich has chosen not to call for proposals at this time as ISL, previously retained through a competitive process, has completed the detailed design and technical specifications for the project, bringing in a new consultant will delay the project and additional costs in the consultant meeting their professional due diligence in design review.

Parties wishing to object to this decision must email purchasing on or before the Closing Time. Parties must outline specific reasons for their objections.
