Description

The Vital Statistics Registry Branch requires same day courier services for pick-up and deliveries between Canada Post depot and two (2) Head Office locations in Thunder Bay.
Scope of Work
Same day courier services for pick-up and deliveries between Canada Post depot and two (2) Head Office locations in Thunder Bay:
Same Day Courier service (Schedule 1):
This service is required to pick-up mail (primarily documents, letters and occasionally parcels) from the Canada Post Depot at 1005 Alloy Drive in Thunder Bay and deliver mail to Head Office Location 1 (intersections: Mountdale Avenue and Walsh Street West) and Head Office Location 2 (intersections: Red River Road and Cumberland Street). Services are required five (5) days per week.
Same Day Courier service (Schedule 2):
This service is required to pick-up and drop-off mail (primarily documents, letters and occasionally parcels) between Head Office Location 1 (intersections: Mountdale Avenue and Walsh Street West) and Head Office Location 2 (intersections: Red River Road and Cumberland Street). Services are required three (3) days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
Note: (Applicable to both Schedules): Due to the nature of the documents and letters to be picked-up/delivered, they will be transported via secured totes (bins). These bins must then be securely transported (i.e. locked vehicle).
