Notice of Intent
Lions Gate Hospital MRI Quench Vent Project
Document Number: 008NOI23EZ

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) intends to extend the contract with Rocky Point Engineering Ltd. (RPE) for their services as the Prime Consultant for the Lions Gate Hospital (LGH) MRI Quench Vent Project (Project).
The maximum value of this contract extension will be $120,000.00 - plus tax. VCH has chosen not to complete a Request for Proposal (RFP) process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:

RPE has been providing consultancy services for the Project since 2021.
RPE has established working relationships with the LGH project team and broad stakeholders.

RPE has knowledge of LGH site and existing infrastructure.

RPE is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.

RPE has Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.

RPE has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all non-owned vehicles in an amount not less than $ 5,000,000.00.

RPE has Professional Errors and Omissions Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $2,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence.

Provide proof showing your experience related to the requirements defined in this Notice of Intent. Only challenges from qualified Consulting firms will be reviewed.
