The Grande Prairie Roman Catholic Separate School Division (“GPCSD”) is inviting qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposals for onsite canteen services at St. Patrick Catholic School. The school has a projected enrollment of approximately 210 students in Pre-K through Grade 8 and 35 staff. This beautiful new school is opening in fall 2023, located in the 7810 Poplar Drive in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
The expected food services program will provide for nutritious and reasonably priced food services. The hours of operation are typically from 10AM – 1 PM, with the majority of the service at the lunch hour. The opportunity to open for extended hours and special events is also available and can be negotiated.
Operations are to commence August 31, 2023 and will align with instructional days as per the Division’s school calendar.

Submission responses to the RFP will be accepted in hardcopy or electronic (email) form. Any submission received after the deadline, as stated below, will not be opened and will be considered unacceptable.
Proponents shall submit their Proposal in an envelope marked “St. Patrick School Canteen Services Proposal” on or before 1:00pm (MST) on Monday, May 22,2023 at the following location:

Electronic submissions will be accepted providing all applicable electronic information is included as listed below. The subject of the email shall be “St. Patrick School Canteen Services Proposal”. The time stamp for responses that are submitted electronically will be that of the GPCSD mail server. Only complete responses will be accepted and reviewed, Proposals with missing information or unsigned documents will be deemed incomplete and not accepted for consideration. No Proposal submitted after the RFP submission deadline will be accepted.
Contractors’ costs to develop the Proposal, the costs for investigative work performed prior to the execution of any contract, and the costs for any presentations, are entirely the obligation of the Contractor and shall not be charged in any part to the Division.
The Contractors’ Proposal and all supporting information become the property of the Division. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of proposals.
