Description

The proposed contract requires the mechanical brushing of +/- 95.4 km’s of BCTS designated Forest Service roads by the use of:
Wheeled or tracked equipment with the appropriate brushing heads to remove light to heavy brush, heavy timber and/or snags or blowdown from the road right- of- way. Pruning of branches that protrude into the running surface up to a height of 6m may be required. Felling of timber may be required, if machine(s) cannot mulch heavy timber, therefore a mulching head will be required.
The contract start date will be M/D, 2023 in order to facilitate the brushing of the Tsedeka, Trapper Creek, FINL 37000/37100, FINL 24000, Hugh Allen, CHUC 20000/20100/CHUC.
