On behalf of Calgary Public Library, Baxter Roof Consulting Ltd. has been retained to observe and comment on the 2024 Reroof. to Memorial Park Library, located at 1221 2nd Street SW, Calgary, Alberta. The following
Invitation to Bid and attached documents provides an outline of the Contractual Work required.

Title of Bid: Memorial Park Library 2024 Reroof
Note: There will be an on-site pre-bid meeting to review the specification, answer any questions and
provide any clarification. The date and time is on the cover page. A written addendum will be issued to
clarify, revise, add to or delete from contractual obligations being bid, as necessary.
As prescribed in the Contract Agreement, work is to start in Spring 2024. Work to be substantially
complete by June 30th, 2024 as indicated in Section 00 72 13.
Bids received from bidders who do not attend the pre-bid meeting or after the Closing Time and Closing date
shown above will not be accepted.
The successful bidder will be required to supply the following items prior to processing of the first invoice:
1. A statement from the Workers’ Compensation Board that they are in good standing with the WCB
2. Proof of Public Liability Insurance showing the additional insured per 00 21 13
3. Consent of Surety.
