Description

Parksville MHSU Wellness & Recovery Centre - Electrical Consultant

Island Health has secured 13,000 sqft of leased space to support a 19 bed Mental Health and Addictions Treatment Service Centre at 188 McCarter Street in Parksville. This facility will be designed to support individuals with moderate to severe substance use challenges, necessitating extended treatment services spanning 60-90 days within a facility setting. The Treatment Service Center is envisioned to provide comprehensive support for a spectrum of substance use treatment requirements, addressing issues related to alcohol, illicit drugs, and concurrent disorders as necessary. The intention is to meet CSA Z8000 standards, ensuring that the facility is equipped to deliver effective and safe treatment services.
