Description

The objective of this project is to conduct a comprehensive review of seventeen (17) government-owned group care facilities to determine the general physical condition and their capability to support the safety, security, and well-being of children and youth in government care who reside in them. The project will provide recommendations on immediate needs, short-term maintenance requirements, and potential long-term renovations to address health, safety and operational deficiencies, ensure optimal functioning of the facilities and alignment with applicable building regulatory standards.
