INF-007 - North 43 Lagoon Expansion Project

The scope of work for the proponent includes:
1. Review previous reports,
2. Plan, schedule and document all meetings required for the project
3. Plan, schedule and meet with County staff/Commission members to clarify
the design intentions,
4. Confirm all the preliminary design values including sewage volumes, lagoon
size for 150,736 m3 annual volume of sewage,
5. Determine the requirements to accommodate the expansion,
6. Select the most suitable expansion site in conjunction with Commission
personnel,
7. Complete geotechnical evaluations and topographic surveys, including initial
survey of crown land (if used under a Miscellaneous Lease),
8. Any environmental assessments. (Biophysical, wetland, environmentally
sensitive areas need to be included as part of this preliminary work.
9. Complete preliminary design of the lagoon cells as per AEPA – Alberta
Environment and Protected Areas.
10.Complete the preliminary design and the preliminary design report.
