2025-CS02 - Silver Star Fire Hall Siding Removal and Replacement

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) requires the services of a qualified contractor to provide the removal of existing exterior siding and trim and install new metal siding and trim on the Silver Star Fire Hall, located at 9885 Silver Star Road, Vernon BC.

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) requires a qualified contractor to remove the existing wood and fiber-cement siding and wood trim and install new metal siding with new trim. It is understood that there are many different types of siding and trim combinations. The vision for this project is to utilize red metal siding with grey or black trim. Additional grey accents would also be considered to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the building. The contractor should ensure that all materials used are of high quality and durable, capable of withstanding the local climate conditions. The fire department is to remain fully operational throughout the project. Therefore, access and egress from the bay doors must always be maintained for the fire apparatus.

The total budget for this project is $100,000.00 excluding applicable taxes.

A site meeting will be held for all proposers on Wednesday, February 12th, at 10:00 am. to provide an opportunity to collect more precise measurements and ask questions.
