Description

The proposed contract requires professional archaeological services to conduct preliminary field reconnaissance and possible archaeological impact assessment services for timber sale licence development located the 100 Mile House and Kamloops Timber Supply Areas in the Kamloops Business Area.

The contract will require a registered professional archaeologist with the ability to hold a multi-assessment permit as well as other technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Forest development activities will include but are not limited to preliminary field reconnaissance with First Nation community representatives, archaeological overview assessments, archaeological impact assessments with First Nation community representatives, and associated reporting.
Contract deliverables will be planned for completion throughout the fiscal year to meet the business area quarterly targets. Projects will be completed concurrently as per the approved work progress plan and schedules.
