The City will NOT accept Proposals submitted in a printed format.
Electronic Bid Submission:
(a) Bids shall be submitted through the City of Moncton's "Bids&Tenders" electronic bidding platform @ http://moncton.bidsandtenders.ca prior to the official Closing Date and Time specified herein.
(b) A "Vendor Account" must be created in order to register as an official "Plan Taker" for this bidding opportunity, and submit an electronic bid response.
(c) Detailed instructions on how to create a "Vendor Account" and submit an electronic bid are available through the City of Moncton's website @ http://www.moncton.ca/bidding-opportunities.

OVERVIEW:
The City of Moncton, on behalf of the municipalities of Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview, is seeking proposals from professional fireworks production firms to provide material, equipment and pyrotechnical services for the presentation of a fireworks display on July 1, 2025.
PROJECT BUDGET:
The MAXIMUM funds available for this project is $30,000.00, INCLUDING H.S.T. @ 15%.
ELIGIBILITY OF PROPONENTS:
Where the estimated value of this procurement falls below the thresholds for Goods and Services specified for broader Canadian public sector entities under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), this procurement is limited to CANADIAN SUPPLIERS ONLY, in accordance with Article 503 (Item 4(b)) (https://www.cfta-alec.ca/cfta-agreement/chapter-five-government-procurement). A "Canadian Supplier", as defined under Article 520 of the CFTA, means "a Supplier that has a place of business in Canada".
Proposals shall be considered from established firms who have been in the business of providing professional fireworks and pyrotechnical production services for a minimum of five (5) years, are financially stable, can provide a minimum of three (3) public sector clients for whom they have provided similar services to that specified in the RFP within the last five (5) year period, and have sufficient labour, equipment and resources to provide reliable, timely, and professional services to the
Canada Day Event Partners in the manner and capacity required.
