Description

The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (“RDKB”) invites proposals from qualified and experienced contractors for services associated with the investigation and review, including public consultation, regarding the potential use of ProcellaCOR FX in Christina Lake for Eurasian Watermilfoil Control.
The RDKB would like to conduct a robust and inclusive process to fully investigate the ProcellaCOR FX product using a scientific based approach. Engagement with First Nations and Christina Lake area residents is essential to fully understand concerns and possible methodologies for mitigation for the use of the product.
The review and engagement work conducted should be done in such a manner as to be able to be transitioned into the process for obtaining a Pesticide Use Permit (PUP) for the use of ProcellaCOR FX, should the project proceed to that stage.
