Description

The Ministry of Education’s Provincial and Demonstration School Branch (PDSB) is procuring Vendor(s) to provide student transportation services of yellow buses to following seven Ministry-administered provincial and demonstration schools;

• Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf & Trillium Demonstration School, Milton, Ontario;
• Robarts School for the Deaf & Amethyst Demonstration School, London, Ontario;
• Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf & Sagonaska Demonstration School, Belleville, Ontario; and
• W. Ross Macdonald School for the Blind, Brantford, ON.
Scope of Work
Student Transportation Services includes:

a) Operational responsibilities for the weekly transportation of the school students through yellow bus services,
b) Emergency procedures, including evacuation of Deaf, deaf/blind and blind passengers from the vehicles,
c) Meeting standards specified in the Highway Traffic Act and any other applicable legislation or government policy.
