AB-2025-02439 - E-Scooter Pilot Program

The City is seeking proposals from responsible firms or operators to implement, own, operate, maintain, and manage a publicly accessible electric scooter (E-Scooter) sharing system as part of a two-year pilot program. As part of this initiative, the selected proponent will be required to engage with key interested parties, including local businesses, community groups, and accessibility advocates, to ensure the system meets the needs of all users. Additionally, the selected proponent must develop and provide educational and promotional materials to inform the public about safe and responsible E-Scooter usage.

An optional one-hour meeting will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams on April 7 at 2:00 PM Mountain Time (MT). This meeting will provide proponents with an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications regarding the project scope. Proponents must notify the RFP Contact via email of their intent to attend the pre-bid meeting at least one hour in advance to receive the meeting invitation. Any new or clarifying information resulting from this meeting will be issued as an addendum on Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC).
