Carrying a Local Road over an Unnamed Watercourse, 35 km SE of Smith

Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 1200 mm x 21.6 m CSP Culvert, and the installation of a 2000 mm x 39 m CSP Culvert. The crossing is located on a local road over an unnamed watercourse, 35 km southeast of Smith, AB. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor’s convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following:
- Traffic Accommodation
- Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing
- Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure
- Excavation
- CSP Supply
- CSP Assembly
- Backfill
- Roadway Work
- Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap
- Rock Ditch Drains – Class 1M
- Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence)
- Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll)
- Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C)
