Description

ICBC invites responses from qualified Proponent(s) who are capable of providing Overnight Next Day Courier Services to and from ICBC offices, Broker locations and ICBC stakeholder offices province wide. The primary service warehouse locations include ICBC’s Head Office and ICBC’s Fulfillment & Distribution Centre (Hemlock Connect Inc.).

ICBC’s estimated annual volumes within the scope of these requirements exceeds 65,000 courier consignments, 179,000 pieces weighing up to 2,265,000 pounds with an average weight of 34 pounds per shipment.

With the information obtained through this NRFP, ICBC expects to identify opportunities or approaches to:

Optimize logistic costs and gain efficiencies by utilizing up to date technology and integrating the distribution of documents and material within ICBC’s distribution network; and
Provide the best value and transportation service needs of its internal and external clients.

ICBC’s objective in issuing this Negotiated Request for Proposal (NRFP) is to identify prospective qualified proponent(s) with the experience, ability and capacity to provide courier service.
