Description

The purpose of this Notice of Proposed Procurement is to provide notice to the fuel supplier market that BC Ferries anticipates issuing a procurement process in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) on BC Bid in Q3/2025 for supply of ultra-low sulphur diesel (ULSD), biodiesel, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). BC Ferries envisions entering into a long-term supply contract for the abovementioned products to supply all our vessel, terminal, and commercial services requirements. The length of the initial term of the contract is anticipated to be 4 years, with potential extensions up to an additional 4 years, with an expected commencement date in Q2/2026. This tentative schedule is subject to change at BC Ferries discretion.
