Description

The Regional District is issuing a Request for Proposals to obtain a consultant to undertake the Planning Process and to develop the Emergency Evacuation Plan and Routes, which will provide prescriptive and procedural detail on how evacuations will occur in the event of an emergency in or near the area. This project will evaluate and identify the suitable evacuation routes and their capacity for various hazards; and understand local hazard impacts including compounding timelines for efficient evacuations.
