Description

Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to contract with The Active Network Ltd. DBA ActiveNet for the provision of Recreation software, and related support services.

ActiveNet is the Park Board's current Recreation software provider and it has played a crucial role in delivering Park Board programs and services, consistently ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

REASONS FOR THE DIRECT AWARD: ActiveNet is the only vendor with the proven ability to meet the City’s operational requirements while maintaining continuity of service. This decision is based on limited market alternatives, the competitive pricing achieved, and the significant effort and disruption involved in transitioning to a new provider.

TERM: Five (5) years, with the City’s option to extend for an additional three (3) years, followed by one (1) further year.
