Description

This project involves the upgrading of Grenfell Heights and Harris Avenue within the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor. The scope includes, but is not limited to, asphalt milling, placement and compaction of Class A material, and the application of hot mix asphalt. On Grenfell Heights, asphalt gutters are to be installed on both sides of the roadway, in accordance with the specifications outlined in Part V of this tender. All costs associated with the installation of the asphalt gutters are considered incidental to Section 02552 – Hot Mix Asphalt, and must be included in the unit price. Additionally, asphalt millings are to be transported, graded, and compacted along a designated section of the Old Railway Bed (ATV Trail) located off Toulett Drive, heading east, within the town limits, as described in Part IV and illustrated in Part V.
