RFP25-08 - Transit System Feasibility Study

The Town of Amherst is currently accepting proposals for a feasibility study to assess the potential for implementing a fixed-route public transit service—referred to as A–Bus—within the town’s municipal boundaries. The Town of Amherst will undertake a comprehensive transit feasibility study to assess the need, viability, and implementation strategies for introducing a fixed-route public transportation system—A–Bus—within the municipal boundaries. The study will evaluate route options, operational models, public needs, vehicle requirements, and integration with existing services.
