AB-2025-03856 - External Municipal Financial Auditing Services

The Town of Stony Plain is seeking proposals from qualified firms of Chartered Professional Accountants to provide financial audit services performed in accordance with Canadian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards as set forth by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA), Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAB), and to express an opinion as to whether the audited financial statements are in all material respects, in accordance with the appropriate financial reporting frameworks and present report(s) to Council. The auditor will be appointed by Council prior to October 2025. The initial term for these services is to be for a period of three (3) years, covering the fiscal years of 2025 to 2027, with an option to extend the agreement for an additional three (3) year term.
