Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to contract with Q-Free for the supply and delivery/provision of Advanced Traffic Controller Enhancement

DESCRIPTION/SCOPE: This software upgrade is to support the operations of traffic signals in Vancouver

DIRECT AWARD: This recommendation is based on an evaluation process that reviewed and evaluated the Proponents ability to meet the City’s requirements. Q-Free is the software provider behind Maxtime, which operates on the City's modern traffic signal controllers. Having supplied this software for nearly four years, where the City plans to continue working with Maxtime to replace over 900 legacy traffic signal controllers Currently, the City owns more than 80 controllers, all running Maxtime software. The City remains committed to Q-Free as the sole provider of Maxtime for the traffic signal system.

The contract is valued at approximately $50,100.00 USD
