Title: Supply & Installation of modular home (to be used as an interim office) with landscaping, surfaced parking lot and driveway, wheelchair accessible decking, storage shed, auto-start propane backup generator, and cedar panel perimeter fencing. This is a fixed price tender. Scope of Work: Proponents may submit proposals for one or both of the following components. Interim Family Development Office: supply, delivery, and installation of a 2000 sq. ft. modular home to be used as an interim office for the Family Development Department at Binche Whut'en (an Indigenous community north of Fort St. James, BC. The modular home will become a family home once a permanent office is built in the community. The supplier will prepare the site (Lot 57 on Binche Keyoh Way), install an engineered screw piling foundation,construct a cwheelchair accessible rear covered patio deck, and front wheelchair access. Parking lot and landscaping: construct a tripple surfaced driveway including drainage and culvert, and 10-stall surfaced parking lot with winter electrical plug-ns and pavement markings and barriers, sidwalks, and perimeter cedar panel fencing, an outside storage shed, and an auto-start propane backup generator. Submission deadline: June 16, 2025 at 4.pm. Project start date: July 1, 2025 for landscaping and parking lot and driveway development. Installation date to provide and set up the modular and the screw piling foundation to be clearly identified by the supplier in their proposal. Expected completion date: Landscaping and parking lot by September 30 2025, and supply and installation of modular structure and decks by November 15, 2025. Eligibility Requirements: Suppliers must demonstrate previous experience in modular home construction, site development,parking lot construction and surfacing, landscaping. Proponents must commit to hiring local Binche Whut'en community members who are qualified for providing services during the site preparation and landscaping stages of the project whenever possible. Local building regularions are required as well as having insurance for transporting the modular structure. Venders should identify previous experience working with Indigenous communities and submit references.
