Description

Strathcona Place is a 227-unit, nine-storey seniors’ housing facility located at 7720 - 108 Street NW, Edmonton, AB. The facility is owned and operated by GEF Seniors Housing. This project involves the supply and installation of barometric relief dampers in designated stairwells to mitigate excessive air pressure resulting from mechanical ventilation systems and ensure door operability during emergency egress conditions. The intent of this project is to be a turn-key solution and shall include all necessary work required for the complete installation of relief dampers and associated components. The design specification and drawings were developed by TWS Engineering and include mechanical, structural, and summary of work. The successful contractor will act as Prime Contractor for the project and be fully responsible for construction safety, coordination, and execution in accordance with Alberta legislation.
